Katie Swift Cordials – Pop-Up Shop
Katie Swift Cordials are made by hand using seasonal, local produce. There are no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Come along and sample some of their favourite autumn cocktails.

Traditional Paella by Mate in Spain – Cooking Class
Let the crew from Mate In Spain show you how to make traditional paella from Valencia. To get the evening started, you will be shown how to make a delicious entrée of pimientos de padron (padron peppers). Perfect for kids aged 8-13. This lovely light cake creation consists of fresh strawberries, cream, condensed milk and ground biscuit crust. They’ll take their creation home at the end of the class.

Perfect for kids aged 8-13. Ever wondered how to make Bubble Tea? We’ll show you the secrets behind making this thirst-quenching beverage that kids (and you) will love. Today’s offering consists of black tea, milk, cream and tapioca balls.

Erica Suarez
Erica Suarez is one of our resident staff members at Williams Sonoma Bondi. Erica held a series of cooking classes with us last year and loves to demonstrate quick and simple dishes that are made with ease. Erica's style of cooking is perfect for the busy parent or budding home chef looking to improve their repertoire.

Apple Gruyere Pie with Japanese Plum Wine – Cooking Class
Learn to make this decadent and tasty apple gruyere cheese pie. Erica will take you through the techniques step by step to get the texture and consistency absolutely perfect. Your creation will be complemented with sour cream on the side and Japanese plum wine (Umeshu). Taste Erica's demo cake and take your creation home!

Leila Knowles
Leila Knowles is one of our resident staff members, and is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to all things baking, cooking and preparing great three-course meals. Leila also has her own catering business, Hot Plates Catering. Thursday 28 March, 4.30pm-6.30pm

A Greek Feast – Cooking Class
Leila's successful world cuisine series now takes us to Greece. To start you will make an entree of Domatokeftedes (tomato fritters with yoghurt) and sweet and sour dried figs with pan-fried haloumi. For the main course you will be shown how to make slow roasted lamb shoulder with green olives and preserved lemon. The session ends with a delicious dessert of baklava with clove and citrus syrup served with honey ice cream.

The French Food Coach
We are proud to have Alison Maher of The French Food Coach hosting classes in our Bondi Junction professional kitchen. You can learn the skills behind preparing French dishes, which you will cook and dine on during the class. Alison will guide you through all the essentials, such as knife skills, sauces, timing, vegetables, meats and vinaigrettes.

Classes are open to all skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced cooks. Alison was awarded the Grand Diplôme from Le Cordon Bleu, after training in London and Paris. She then trained at the two-Michelin-starred Le Gavroche before beginning her own catering company. Alison’s classes will be held on Saturdays.

Knife Skills & Techniques with Alison Maher
Master your chopping, slicing, dicing and segmenting skills. Build your confidence with different types of knives and understand their different uses. Alison (The French Food Coach) will showcase seasonal recipes, which you will receive to take home, using the demonstrated techniques. While these are demonstration classes, there are opportunities for hands-on participation.
Saturday 16 & Saturday 30 March, 2pm-4.30pm

French Cooking with Alison Maher – Cooking Class
Immerse yourself in the colours and flavours of Provence while you learn how to make exquisite Provençal dishes, including a mouth-watering aperitif, a main dish with accompaniments, or several dishes and a dessert to make up a luncheon feast. Think of a flavourful tapenade or an anchoïade, a delicious soupe au pistou or rich summer bouillabaisse, the famous ratatouille, crisp salads and beautiful summer tarts. A matching glass or two of wine will also be served. Alison will pass on time-saving tips and techniques, mastered over many years, that will ensure the cook in you will be inspired and nourished.
