Mate in Spain is a young, Sydney-based business founded by third-generation Spanish food traders. They’re bringing an upscale Spanish delicatessen to our store, offering delicious produce to shop and taste, including Jamón Serrano, gourmet seafood, paella rice and paprika.

Christmas Cookie Decorating with Kristina & Lauren – Cooking Class
Our in-house creative experts Kristina and Lauren will introduce you to some great ideas to get your Christmas-themed cookies perfectly decorated using multiple techniques. Your cookies will be ready to ice and decorate, using some cool, decorator embellishments.

A Vegan Christmas Banquet by the Vegan Cooking School – Cooking Class
Join Ben Saravia, director of the Vegan Cooking School, and his team for the ultimate plant-based festive feast. A guided dining experience like no other, you'll enjoy six courses of Christmas delights prepared right in front of you with tips, tricks and plenty of opportunities to get involved.

Your menu will include seasonal entrees, a decadent vegan roast with all the trimmings and a sumptuous cherry pie, among a host of other original nibbles and treats along the way. Relax to Christmas tunes and enjoy mulled wine and other merry beverages while Ben and his team prepare and serve this Christmas menu, offered exclusively at Williams Sonoma for the very first time.

Big Christmas Dinner with Leila Knowles – Cooking Class
Let Leila show you how to create a Christmas feast for your family and friends. Learn to make delicious canapes to have with drinks when your family gathers, and then how to glaze a ham with figs, apricot and cloves. This ham has real WOW factor in looks and taste! For dessert you will make a roulade with mascarpone and fresh raspberries.

Learn to make Christmas canapés with Alison. Each canapé is a delicious showstopper that will delight your Christmas guests – some can even become gifts! Pick up pastry-making techniques and Christmas decorating skills too. During the three-hour class you’ll make beautiful cocktail-sized creations, which you will then take home to enjoy:

  • Star-topped mince pies
  • Comté gougères (cheese puffs)
  • French spiced sausage rolls
  • Salmon and dill quiches

This class is suited for keen beginners to experienced home bakers, and the techniques are made simple by Alison’s teachings.
