Designed in-house, our salt and pepper mills are crafted exclusively for Williams Sonoma in a workshop in northern Italy that specializes in turned wood products. Artisans employ traditional woodworking techniques to create this classic silhouette, which is finished with copper, brass or pewter plating for exceptional colour and shine.
- Crafted of solid beech wood with copper, brass or pewter plating.
- Ceramic mechanism in salt mill and carbon-steel mill in pepper mill are engineered to resist corrosion and optimise grinding.
- Steel knob on top allows you to adjust grind from ultrafine to coarse.
- Mills come prefilled with salt crystals and whole peppercorns.
- Designed and developed by Williams Sonoma.

Use
- Pepper mill: Use only black, white or mixed peppercorns in this mill. Not suitable for green or pink peppercorns. Do not place salt or other spices in mill.
- Salt mill: Use only coarse sea salt or kosher salt in this mill. Not suitable for wet salts. Do not place pepper or other spices in mill.
- Do not grind mill without pepper or salt inside because this will damage the mechanism.
Care
- Wipe exterior with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
We offer four types of delivery (Small Parcel, Small Standard, Standard, Deluxe) determined by the items in your order. An item's delivery type is displayed under the "Stock Status" information on each product page online. Delivery charges are calculated by destination and are charged per order. Multiple–product orders are charged according to the product with the highest delivery type. To view the overall cost of your delivery, please add all items to your shopping cart and ensure your delivery postcode is correct.
Customise your delivery! If you’d like to save on shipping, you may be able to change your Deluxe delivery to a lower priced Small Standard or Standard. Alternatively, you may also be able to upgrade your Small Standard or Standard delivery to experience our full Deluxe service. Either way, look for the option and your item/s eligibility at checkout.
Sometimes products may arrive separately but you will only be charged one delivery fee per order. Also, products delivered separately may be sent via the delivery type of that product rather than the overall order. Please provide a street address for delivery — we cannot ship to PO Boxes. NOTE: In some areas, we are unable to provide our full Deluxe service.
